New for this season, Grambling State University football games will be broadcast live on KGRM 91.5 FM, GSU’s official on-campus radio station, and simulcast on KPCH 99.3 The Peach.

“I’m very excited about the opportunity to collaborate with Grambling State Athletics and KPCH,” said Charlston Talbert, KGRM Operations Manager. “Grambling State Athletics is important to our listeners worldwide and the local community as well.”

Handling play-by-play duties on gameday is Onaje Morris, a 2022 graduate of Grambling State and on color commentary is current GSU student Nathan McCarter. In addition to airing Grambling State football games, KGRM will broadcast multiple GSU athletic events throughout the year.

“Partnering with KGRM and KPCH to broadcast our games is a significant step forward for Grambling State Athletics,” said Dr. Trayvean D. Scott, VP of Athletics at Grambling State University. “This collaboration enhances our outreach to the global Tiger community, strengthens our connection with local fans, and provides invaluable hands-on experience for our Mass Communication students. It’s an exciting opportunity for them to gain real-world skills in radio broadcasting while contributing to the visibility and accessibility of GSU Athletics.”

KGRM-FM is a 50,000-watt non-commercial educational radio station licensed to Grambling State University with a dual purpose of a laboratory function for students in the Department of Mass Communication and service to the community. KGRM is on the air for 24 hours a day, through the automation system operating on the 91.5 frequency. It offers a variety of music, news, sports, and public affairs programming.
